Richard Grist CEqD is a native of England but considers the U.S. home after living here for the last 30 years. He received his dental training originally in England at Hartpury College after being introduced to equine dentistry from his brother-in-law. Once he made the move to the states, he continued his education at the Academy of Equine Dentistry in Idaho and went on to start a private practice here in Florida in 2001. To date, Richard has completed over 100,000 equine dental procedures and still loves his work! He finds the challenge of correcting complicated dental issues rewarding and truly enjoys teaching his clients about the equine mouth and the benefits of routine care.
Personally, Richard is married and has four step -children who he enjoys spending time with. His hobbies include driving at both racetrack and auto cross events as well as working on his cars.
